Everyone is concerned about the global spread of the virus, but according to the British Retail Foundation “the government has stated that all online business should remain open and be encouraged”. This was backed up by the UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock who said those who cannot work from home should go to work “to keep the country running”. With the help of our technology we fully expect most of our customers & fulfilment network to keep functioning with minimal disruption.
Despite the current situation, we still believe that there are many positive points to focus on. For instance, many of our retailers witnessed strong Mother’s Day performance, particularly in light of the increase in online shopping. With Easter around the corner, we’re hoping this too will prove to be another opportunity for eCommerce to demonstrate its strength.
For the next month, we will be sharing a unique business opportunity via the blog on our website each day, in order to inspire and encourage eCommerce in ways that benefit us all. Please check them out here.
We will endeavour to keep you updated as the situation develops, however we would like to stress again that our day-to-day activity is progressing normally and without disruption. However, if you have any specific concerns or queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
